On Tuesday, August 2, 2022, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and U. S. Rep. Susan Wild toured Lehigh Valley International Airport's construction and later toured Lehigh Carbon Community College's program that teaches veterans to enter the trucking industry. The funding is part of the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package approved by Congress.
