On September 7, 2017 this is a rare look at the former Lehigh Valley Dairy along MacArthur Road near Allentown, Pa.. Built in 1934 by the Lehigh Valley Cooperative Farmers the 350,000-square-foot Lehigh Valley Dairy complex closed in 1989. The grand structure which features an Art Deco façade on its MacArthur Road-facing front awaits re-purposing. MacArthur Road was named for Gen. Douglas MacArthur in 1942. The township is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the naming of the busy thoroughfare in 2017.
