The former Neuweiler Brewery in Allentown, Pa., built between 1911 and 1913, is being demolished in January, 2023, to make way for a 7-story mixed-use development. Plans include over 300 apartments. The original brew house on the property is six stories high, and contains a copper hipped roof with a cupola that has stood over 100 years as a familiar icon on Allentown's skyline. The brewery closed in 1968. Pictures here were made in the 1990s by Donna Fisher.
